Billing
Although often a vital part of surgery, anesthesia and any other related services are not included in your regular hospital bill. Many insurance plans cover most or all of the cost of anesthesia services, but you should speak to your carrier if you are considered about the cost.
Our billing office, ABC Medical, is located in Phoenix, Arizona. They may be reached at toll free 1-800-477-2094. ABC will directly bill your insurance company for anesthesia services performed at the Alaska Surgery Center, and then send you a bill for any outstanding charges. They will be happy to provide you with an estimate of anesthesia charges prior to the day of surgery, and will handle any potential billing problems after surgery as well.
